Austrian Australian Club, Heard St Mawson, a large Community Pub built in the 70s exploding with character and charm. The pub sits high overlooking Mawson with uninterrupted views of Mt Taylor and showcasing the most spectacular sunsets in Canberra. With the passion for Beer, cleaning beer lines & glasses regularly, we still have the cleanest & freshest BEER in town, you won’t taste better! We have Meat raffles, Joker Poker, Pool Tables, Dart Boards, Entertainment & Happy Hours daily. So if it's entertainment, a catch-up or just a quiet drink youll always find a spot in 1 of our 6 rooms. The Restaurant is open 7 days a week lunch & dinner, serving traditional Austrian/European Cuisine & our Pub favourites. Got a function? We cater for as many as 200 in our enormous function hall that can be closed off to the public. It's fully equipped with kitchen, a bar, main stage with brand-new stage lighting, microphone, projector and a surround sound system. We can do theatre style seating to a fine dining 3-course meal. There are 3 different size rooms, the Lodge Room caters for as little as 2 to 50 and our Function Barroom caters for 2-40. The function rooms are available to hire by themselves, or we have function packages available including bar, food, sound equipment and stage lights.

Functions, Events and Entertainment

Got a function to book, look no further, we cater for as little as 2 to 200 people in our enormous function hall with stage. There are 3 different size rooms to choose. You can hire the room alone or add a package that can include food & drinks, sound equipment, projector screen or stage lights. Live music performances to themed parties, weddings and anything function we are here to help. There's always something happening at the Austrian Australian Club.
